Main activities of the Institute
Based on the objectives of the Institute, its activities include:
- study of sociodemographic and family policy;
- exploring the main trends for sociodemographic developments and demographic forecasts;
- exploring the social, economic and demographic issues of migration and resettlement;
- education and social problems related to it;
- the study of the characteristics of socialization, social identity and social-cultural values;
- exploring issues of social and cultural development;
- participation in formulating methodological issues for population assessment;
- involvement in the drafting of legislative and normative acts for demographic policies;
- exploring social and spatial issues;
- formulation of appropriate measures for raising the level of demographic education of the public and promoting their implementation;
